Central Poultry Pledges K400 Million to Boost Malawi Borehole Repairs

Pacific Limited scored a massive cash boost for their water well repair project. Central Poultry Limited stepped up with a huge K400 million donation to help fix broken boreholes across the country. The money will buy spare parts needed to repair 250 water wells that have stopped working. Company chief Nizam Kasmany said his business wants to help people who struggle to find clean drinking water. The partnership shows how private companies can work together to solve water problems.

Faisal Aboo runs Pacific Limited and thanked Central Poultry for their generous support. His company has been fixing broken water wells since 2015 without charging communities any fees. The team has already repaired more than 8,000 boreholes across Malawi during their nine years of operation. The new partnership will help them fix even more wells that provide clean water to rural areas. Both companies want to make sure families have access to safe drinking water.

The collaboration tackles one of Malawi's biggest challenges around water access. Many communities rely on boreholes for their daily water needs but these wells often break down. Pacific Limited specializes in repairing these wells and getting them working again. The K400 million donation will buy essential parts that keep the wells running properly. This partnership proves that businesses can make a real difference when they work together on important community projects.
