Chapungu Queens aim for glory as they kick off the Find the Ball netball tourney in Gaborone

Zimbabwe's Air Force netball squad travels to Botswana this weekend for regional competition. Chapungu Queens will represent their nation at the Find the Ball Tournament in Gaborone from July 19 through 21. The three-day event originally planned for four participating teams but only the Zimbabwean side confirmed attendance. Premier Netball League officials expressed confidence that Chapungu will demonstrate exceptional talent during international play. The team currently holds third position in domestic league standings.

Recent roster additions provide fresh opportunities for tactical adjustments during the midseason break. Chapungu declined participation in May's COSANA championships in Namibia while ZDF Queens earned silver medals and Makate struggled against regional opponents. Star player Tafadzwa Matura has elevated team performance throughout the current campaign. Zimbabwe Netball Association representatives and league board members accompany the traveling squad. Tournament organizers expect competitive matches as Chapungu pursues victory on foreign courts.
