Two separate fatal road accidents occurred in Kenya, claiming a total of seven lives.

A Tata Canter lorry lost control and collided with two stationary vehicles (a Toyota Prado and Probox) plus four motorcycles. Police Commissioner Kazungu Charo confirmed that two people - a woman and a man - died in the incident, while eleven others sustained serious injuries. The injured were transported to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
A more devastating crash occurred along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway at Mbaruk area in Gilgil around 6 p.m. Five people, including an infant, died when their Toyota Fielder collided head-on with another vehicle during an overtaking attempt. The driver lost control after the initial collision and rammed into a Mercedes-Benz Actros trailer. All five occupants (one male infant, two women, and two men) died instantly. The vehicle caught fire and was completely destroyed.
