Bulawayo Chiefs hired John Nyikadzino as their new head coach. The team wants to return to Zimbabwe's top soccer league. Nyikadzino replaces Bekithemba Ndlovu who coached the team for a short time. Ndlovu took over after Maxwell Takaendesa Jongwe left Chiefs. Jongwe moved to coach Yadah Stars team.
Chiefs play their games at the second tier level right behind the premier league. The team hopes Nyikadzino can lead them back to the top division. Ndlovu used to play defense for Zimbabwe's national team and Highlanders club. Chiefs officials believe their new coach has the experience needed for success. The club wants promotion to happen soon.
