China-Myanmar Friendship Shines at 75th Anniversary Youth Performance

Young performers took the stage at Yangon's National Theatre yesterday morning for a special celebration. The event marked 75 years of friendship between China and Myanmar through art and culture. Students danced and played music to honor the long partnership between both countries. Deputy Minister Daw Nu Mra Zan joined Chinese officials and local leaders at the colorful show. Representatives from schools, cultural centers, and business groups filled the theater seats.

LeHua International Education Centre's Electric Drum Troupe kicked off the program with a modern twist on a classic Chinese tune. State High School of Fine Arts students followed with beautiful traditional Myanmar dancing. Chinese Minister-Counsellor Ms Cao Jing spoke to the crowd about the special anniversary. The audience watched as young artists from different schools performed one act after another. Brain Works-Total, Bowen, ELBC, GESC, Lehua, and MIEC students all showed off their cultural dance skills.

The Deputy Minister told everyone that remembering the past helps build stronger connections for tomorrow. China has helped Myanmar grow through business deals, technology sharing, and cultural programs over many decades. Young people from both nations learn about each other through these special events and exchanges. The celebration brought together students, teachers, government workers, and community leaders under one roof. Cultural performances like this one help people from different countries become better friends and partners.
