Churchill High Blaze Leaves 54 Kids Devastated

Zimbabwe's ZDF Queens won silver medals at a major netball tournament on Monday. The team lost 47-44 against the Royal Flames from Eswatini during the championship game. Players fought hard but could not hold their lead during the final minutes. The Premier Netball League champions took home N$8,000 for second place. Fans watched the exciting match at the COSANA Club Championships held in Windhoek.

Royal Flames scored more points early and stayed ahead through most quarters. ZDF Queens battled back and grabbed a one-point advantage late in the game. The lead changed hands multiple times as both teams played aggressive defense. Royal Flames pulled ahead again with two minutes left on the clock. The final score showed just three points separated the teams.

Kelly Muyambo earned recognition as the tournament's top player for her strong performance. The experienced athlete led her teammates throughout all their matches. Zimbabwe brought two squads to compete against other Southern African clubs. Makate High Flyers also represented the country but lost every group stage game. Regional tournaments like this help develop netball talent across multiple nations.
