Ciara and Russell Wilson drop $3.5M on kids’ health and hunger relief

Ciara and Russell Wilson just dropped major holiday charity cash in two cities. Their Why Not You Foundation donated half a million dollars to fight hunger in Atlanta, specifically for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Southwest ATL Cares program. The announcement happened at Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church, with the couple aiming to provide over a million meals across the metro area. Ciara, an Atlanta native, stressed the need for food access and stability for local families.

In a separate move, the pair gave three million dollars to Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital in New York City. The funds will build and upgrade therapeutic play spaces for sick kids, including a theater and specialized areas for pediatric cancer patients. Russell Wilson, now the Giants quarterback, has frequently visited the hospital, and the donation underscores their focus on creating positive healing environments for children. Together, these contributions highlight the couple's targeted philanthropic strategy addressing community health and basic needs.
