A new update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, developed by Sandfall Interactive, will add fresh content to the RPG. The update, announced by the studio on Steam, comes as the game reaches 5 million copies sold and the soundtrack by Lorien Testard hits 333 million streams. New features, including a new environment with enemies and surprises, late-game boss battles, and additional costumes for customization, will be part of the update. The game will also offer text and UI localizations in seven new languages, expanding the supported languages to 19.
