Como Set to Ditch Fabregas for Ancelotti Heir

Italian club Como plans for life after coach Cesc Fabregas, as rumors link him to Bayer Leverkusen. The German club needs a replacement since Xabi Alonso might leave for Real Madrid. Football Italia reports that Como likes David Ancelotti as their next coach. David has worked as an assistant at Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton, and Real Madrid with his father Carlo. The 35-year-old helped teams win the German league, the Spanish league, and the Champions League titles.

This coaching carousel starts with talk of Carlo Ancelotti leaving Real Madrid for the Brazil national team job. If Carlo goes to Brazil, Alonso could take over at Real Madrid. This would open the Leverkusen job for Fabregas. Como also considers Spanish coach Alvaro Arbeloa from Real Madrid youth teams as another option. The club wants to be ready if Fabregas decides to leave when the season ends.
