Consilio hires Tricia Kinney as new chief legal officer

Consilio hired Tricia Kinney as its top legal executive, with Mike Flanagan stepping aside after more than 13 years as general counsel to focus on advisory work. Kinney arrives from BlueLinx Corporation, where she served as general counsel and corporate secretary for about two years. She will oversee legal operations, compliance programs and governance matters while reporting to CEO Andy Macdonald at the Washington-based legal technology firm.

Macdonald described Kinney as an accomplished leader whose background managing governance and risk programs at multinational organizations will prove valuable as the company expands. Before BlueLinx, she held the chief legal and compliance officer position at ServiceMaster and worked 13 years at Kimberly-Clark in various roles. She spent a decade as a partner at Powell Goldstein before moving in-house.

Flanagan joined Consilio from Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and will remain involved with strategic matters during the transition period. The company specializes in electronic discovery services, document review operations and flexible legal staffing solutions.
