Police Officer Steals Money From Work.
A young police officer named Isaac did something very wrong. He worked at a special office where the police keep their money safe. The police trusted him because he helped look after important papers and money at work.
The police say Isaac took more than six hundred thousand dollars that belonged to everyone at work. He sneaked the money out of a safe box where important cash was stored. Isaac tried to hide what he had done by making up a story. He wrote down that he sent the money to a mine called Joyce Mine. This was not true because the mine had already closed two years ago.
The police caught Isaac and arrested him. They found him working at a different police station in Mutoko. A special police leader named Chief Inspector Munyaka came to tell the judge what happened. The judge put Isaac in jail until tomorrow when they can decide if he should pay money to stay out of jail. Sadly, none of the money Isaac took has been found yet.
