Corsair Coup Thi La Topples Founder Andy Paul

Corsair Gaming just switched leaders as Thi La takes over the top job from company founder Andy Paul. Paul started the business back in 1994 and decided to retire from both his CEO role and board position. La worked her way up through different jobs at Corsair over 14 years before landing the main chair. The board planned this leadership switch well ahead of time to keep everything running smooth. Paul built the company from scratch with a small team of computer engineers focused on gaming hardware.

La handled operations and helped grow the business from her previous roles as President and Chief Operating Officer. She managed departments like product development and company strategy during her climb to the top. Her experience covers everything from manufacturing to logistics as Corsair expanded into new markets. The company started making high-performance memory modules for computer enthusiasts who wanted custom builds and overclocking features.

Corsair grew way beyond its original hardware focus through smart acquisitions and internal development. The business expanded from basic computer parts to more than 30 different product categories. These new areas include gaming accessories, streaming equipment, and various PC components for different customer types. La guided much of this growth and helped the company compete in the fast-changing gaming market.
