The Patriotic League of Uganda secretary general earned 36,429 votes while Henry Muhumuza finished second with 10,873 votes. Kyeune Muhammad and Bazarwagye Sam trailed with 1,216 and 561 votes respectively. Amos Naturinda announced results at the Mubende tally center following peaceful voting across eight electoral areas. Kabanda dominated multiple locations while building his commanding lead throughout the constituency.

The winner previously worked as a policy advisor and community development advocate within Mubende District politics. His campaign emphasized health infrastructure improvements, agricultural support expansion, and rural education enhancement. Kabanda thanked party members for their trust and promised people-centered leadership during his victory speech. He pledged to serve constituents while preparing for 2026 general elections against opposition candidates. The candidate will consolidate party support and appeal to undecided voters before parliamentary contests begin.
