Daylight Gunmen Snatch 4300 from Bulawayo Club

Three armed men robbed Zara Lounge on Sunday morning in Bulawayo city center. The thieves struck around 10 AM when staff counted cash from Saturday night. They forced workers into a room at gunpoint before taking US$4,300. Police arrived soon after receiving reports about the crime, but found the criminals had already left the scene.

Law enforcement officers helped six scared staff members to safety during their response. Some police climbed onto the roof and fired warning shots, hoping to trap the suspects. The Zimbabwe Republic Police released information about the case later that day. They asked the public for help finding the armed gang that remains free.

Police also caught several people linked to different robbery cases across Bulawayo. These suspects allegedly used machetes during attacks in neighborhoods such as Cowdray Park, Makokoba, and Nkulumane. The police promised to share more details about these arrests soon. Authorities continue searching for the Zara Lounge robbers as part of their investigation.
