Destiny - Rising Mobile Game Set for August 2025 Launch

Bungie teams up with NetEase to bring Destiny fans a brand new mobile adventure this August. The game hits iOS and Android devices on August 28, 2025, giving players their first taste of Destiny on phones and tablets. This mobile version takes place in an alternate timeline that changes up the familiar Destiny story. Publishers revealed the game last October, showing off recognizable faces from the beloved franchise. The mobile format means some big changes to how players experience the Destiny universe.

Players cannot create their personal Guardian character like they do in the main games. Instead, they pick from ready-made heroes such as Ikora Rey and Iron Lord Jolder. The game also features Wolf, a completely new character that players can customize however they want. This fresh approach gives mobile users different ways to jump into the action. The developers call Wolf a fully customizable Lightbearer, adding something special for mobile players.

The mobile game keeps the core Destiny experience alive with familiar mission types. Strike missions return alongside bigger six-player cooperative adventures that challenge teams. Player versus player battles let mobile gamers fight against each other just like the main series. The release trailer shows the game clearly belongs in the Destiny world despite being on mobile. Early footage proves the mobile version captures the same feel as console and PC versions.

Eager fans can sign up early to secure bonus rewards when the game launches. Pre-registration opens right away for anyone wanting to claim these special items.
