Dhaka University's Computer Science and Engineering Department will host VisionX on November 15, 2025. The artificial intelligence competition takes place at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building. Professor Md Abdur Razzak announced details during a Sunday press conference at the department auditorium. The event promotes technological innovation among young people and strengthens academic-industry partnerships.
Participants compete across two categories featuring business concepts and project demonstrations. Teams contain up to three members from various academic backgrounds such as engineering, business, sociology or arts. Students aged 27 or younger from national universities and colleges may register. Bangladeshi students studying overseas qualify when at least one teammate attends a domestic institution.
Winners receive cash awards totaling 230,000 taka with first place earning 100,000 taka. Registration closes October 15, 2025 through visionx.cse.du.ac.bd.
