Dhaka University Seeks Unified Effort to Secure Campus Ahead of DUCSU Elections

Dhaka University's leader asked teachers and staff to help keep the campus safe. Vice-Chancellor Niaz Ahmed Khan made this request during a meeting with worker groups at his office. He wants everyone to work together before the student council elections happen. The university plans to make sure students can vote without problems.

Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed attended the meeting with other school officials. Acting registrar Munshi Shams Uddin Ahamad also joined the discussion about campus safety. The administrators talked about creating a special security team. This group would have members from different parts of the university.

Khan told the workers they must do their jobs with care and honesty. The university needs all employees to help protect students and buildings. Staff members must watch for trouble and report problems quickly. Their hard work will help make the election process smooth.

The meeting covered plans for a new security committee. Representatives from student housing areas would join this group. Worker associations would also send people to help with safety planning. The committee will coordinate efforts across the entire campus.

University leaders decided to punish anyone who causes trouble. They will also take action against people who help troublemakers. The administration wants to send a clear message about campus rules. Students and staff must follow safety guidelines during the election period.
