Dimensity 9500 Benchmark Leaks Reveal Early Performance Insights

MediaTek moves closer to launching the Dimensity 9500 chip after benchmark tests showed some early specs. The results seem weak compared to what experts expect from the final version. Engineers are still working on the chip and plan to boost its performance before the official release. The company tested different versions of the processor to find the best setup. Early benchmarks give people a glimpse of what the chip might offer when it hits phones.

The new Dimensity 9500 uses a different core setup than previous rumors suggested. Instead of the expected 2 plus 6 core design, the chip runs with a 1 plus 3 plus 4 setup. The fastest core speed reached 3.23GHz during testing, which falls short of the rumored 4.0GHz target. The test phone packed 16GB of RAM and used a 12-core Mali-G1 Ultra graphics chip. Previous leaks claimed the chip would beat Apple's A19 Pro processor with scores over 11,000 points.
