Gospel singer Dorcas Moyo earned a second Clima Africa Awards nomination. She competes with other top African gospel performers, including Winnie Mashaba, Janet Otieno, Chinyere Udoma, Sarah Apekeola, and Azwi Kokela. Moyo won Female Gospel Artist of the Year at last year's ceremony. The awards ceremony will be held on October 5 at The Maslow Hotel in Johannesburg.
Moyo is thrilled about her recognition. She believes the nomination shows she consistently creates quality music. Winning would boost her international reputation, as planned in her career strategy. She plans to celebrate if she is successful, but she knows the honor brings pressure to achieve more. Her team follows the motto "Higher still, higher" as they pursue bigger goals.
