His Honour Osman Abdul Hakeem stepped in for the Supervising High Court Judge and handled the swearing-in duties for the media bigwigs. Dr. Harrison Kofi Belley grabbed the chairman's seat while Ms. Ivy Priscilla Setordjie snagged the vice chairperson role. Mr. Lambert Kofi Atsivor secured the secretary position and Mr. King Freeman Nutsukpoe walked away with the treasurer's job. The ceremony also saw Nana Kwabena Ntow from the Oti Region take his oath as their lone elected representative.

Media folks and association members gathered at the court complex to witness the historic moment. Dr. Belley wasted no time laying out his game plan for the region's journalists. The new chairman pushed hard for unity among media workers and spelled out his top priorities. He wants to wrap up the Volta Press Centre Phase II project and breathe new life into the Regional Awards program. The media chief made it clear that better communication and getting the region noticed nationally rank high on his agenda.

The freshly minted chairman reached out to all media players and key figures for backing. Dr. Belley stressed that building a tough and powerful media environment needs everyone pulling in the same direction. He believes the new team can deliver results if they get the right support from the industry.
