Kenya's health minister went off on the former interior guy, saying Fred Matiang'i has zero business trashing President William Ruto when his own track record was apparently garbage. Aden Duale basically told Matiang'i to sit down and shut up because he ran internal security with a heavy hand and presided over extrajudicial killings, which makes him the worst possible person to lecture anyone about following the law or respecting the constitution.
Duale also hyped up Ruto's infrastructure work and said critics are just hating on the name instead of looking at actual results. He claimed nobody in the past three administrations has matched what Ruto pulled off in roads and development projects.
Matiang'i had been calling the government barbaric and incompetent, comparing it to colonial regimes that refuse to let go of power. The former cabinet secretary said Kenyans are struggling under terrible leadership, and he's ready to help fix the mess.
