Dune Awakening update adds tier 6 resources to PvE Deep Desert zones

Funcom just pushed out another major update for their survival game Dune Awakening. The new patch brings tier 6 resources to peaceful zones inside the Deep Desert region. Players can finally grab the best materials without fighting other people. Gamers who hate combat scenarios cheered when they heard about these changes. The company also boosted spice field numbers across the dangerous wasteland areas.

Medium spice deposits jumped from five spawns back up to eight per zone. Small spice fields expanded from twenty-two locations to thirty total spots. These resource bumps help solo players compete with team groups. Contract rewards stopped disappearing when player bags were completely full. Funcom fixed several broken mission types that refused to complete properly.

The gaming community split right down the middle about these updates. Hardcore survival fans argue that safe zones ruin the brutal desert experience. They believe Frank Herbert's harsh world should force everyone into deadly combat situations. Casual players disagree and want access to endgame content without constant player battles. Many spent dozens of hours reaching high levels before hitting the PvP wall.

Server maintenance will activate some patch features after the download finishes. Funcom warned that certain improvements need scheduled downtime to work correctly. The developer continues searching for the perfect balance between peaceful explorers and aggressive fighters. Future updates will likely address more community complaints about game balance issues.
