Durian orchard tragedy as elderly man found dead in Kuala Klawang shooting

A 67-year-old man died from what police believe was an accidental shooting at his durian farm in Kampung Bandar Tinggi, Kuala Klawang, Jelebu. Family members discovered the victim lying on the ground with blood around his body and contacted authorities at 10:45 PM. The man had traveled alone to his 2,023-hectare orchard that morning but failed to return home by evening. Officers found a makeshift wooden gun near the deceased during their initial examination. Police Chief Superintendent Azizan Said confirmed the discovery and subsequent investigation.

Authorities transported the body to Rembau Hospital's Forensic Department for examination. The case is classification as a sudden death pending further analysis. Police have requested that community members avoid speculation about the incident. The victim had operated the agricultural property independently before the fatal accident occurred. Officials continue processing evidence while family members await autopsy results.
