The Harare soccer team won the Chibuku Super Cup twice under coach Lloyd Chigowe but lacks money for continental football. Chairman Bernard Marriot said hosting matches outside Zimbabwe costs far more than the club can afford. Zimbabwe has no stadiums that meet CAF standards for international games. The financial burden became impossible for the struggling team.
