Eastern Bank has partnered with Spectrum Software & Consulting to deploy OptiFin for supply chain financing operations. Riad Mahmud Chowdhury from the bank's corporate division and Mushfiqur Rahman representing the technology firm formalized the arrangement at the lender's Dhaka headquarters.
Rahman highlighted the domestic origin of Spectrum's financial technology products, which span trade automation, data center oversight and artificial intelligence reporting systems for monetary authorities. Chowdhury noted the platform would strengthen the institution's financing capabilities for commercial clients. Mohammad Mainul Hasan Faisal, Zaed Bin Hassan, Sanjit Dutta, Dr. Faizul Bari, Farhanur Rahman, Md. Rokonuzzaman and Monjur Ahamed attended the agreement ceremony.
