EcoCash Ditches Its Name for TN CyberTech Twist

EcoCash Holdings wants to become TN CyberTech Investments Holdings Limited and honor banking pioneer Tawanda Nyambirai. Company leaders plan to use the businessman's initials for their new corporate identity after three decades of his work. Shareholders will vote on June 13 during a virtual meeting to decide the future name change. Directors believe the transformation goes beyond simple rebranding and matches their growing technology goals. The proposed letters represent innovation, dignity, industry, faith, originality, and humility according to company documents.

The fintech business hopes to join other famous founder-named institutions like J.P. Morgan, Barclays, and Wells Fargo around the world. Company officials need shareholder approval and government permission from the Registrar of Companies before making any legal changes. Directors received authorization to complete all required paperwork and administrative steps for the corporate transformation. The new identity signals respect for the company's history and commitment to future digital solutions across Zimbabwe's competitive financial landscape. Business experts wait to see what shareholders decide about changing the established EcoCash brand.
