Two elderly women protested unclothed at Ziko Village in Chief Seke's jurisdiction on Friday after their neighbor allegedly encroached on one woman's property. Anna Chick and Cecilia Chiremba directed their demonstration against Bonface Nyangombe, whom they accuse of expanding his residential plot onto Chiremba's land.
The dispute remains unresolved before Chief Seke's court. Village residents claim Nyangombe and associates, identified as Mushonga and Chikozve, are attempting to force Chiremba from her property, with allegations that Manyame Rural District Council employees supplied Nyangombe with questionable documentation. Chiremba subsequently secured her paperwork from the council confirming land ownership.
Nyangombe has applied for a protection order at Chitungwiza Civil Court, where his matter was scheduled for a hearing. He maintains he holds legitimate documentation from Manyame RDC and Chief Seke verifying his claim to the plot.
