The latest batch of tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 vanished within minutes today. Most people grabbed their passes already despite the festival only naming five performers. Last year, on August 21st, fans bought all tickets in just hours without knowing any acts. Three phone companies will offer one more small group of tickets later when all performers are announced.
Irish singer Hozier and popular artist Chappell Roan will play at the big event. Kings of Leon, Sam Fender, and Fatboy Slim have also joined the lineup. You can see Hozier and Chappell Roan on the main stage Friday, August 29th. Fender and Fatboy Slim take over Saturday night. Kings of Leon will help close everything down on Sunday. The festival runs for three full days at Stradbally.
This year marks the biggest Electric Picnic during its 22-year run. The company running the show, EP Republic Ltd, wants to let 80,000 people attend each day, 5,000 more than the 75,000 limit from last year's festival. However, they still need approval for this increase from local officials.
The rush for tickets happened even though fans knew almost nothing about who would perform. Most buyers purchased tickets based purely on the festival's great history and past lineups. Many music lovers trusted the event would deliver amazing acts as always. The remaining three customer tickets will likely disappear just as fast when released.
All this excitement builds for the late summer festival happening in Stradbally, County Laois. The grounds will fill with music fans from across Ireland and beyond. With five major acts already confirmed and many more coming soon, ticket holders can look forward to an unforgettable weekend of music and fun at the expanded Electric Picnic festival grounds.
