Eli Njuchi Shines at Northern Region Mo626 Intercollege Social Weekend

Students packed Mzuzu University over the weekend for a music festival featuring popular artist Eli Njuchi. The performer energized crowds during the Northern Region Mo626 Intercollege Social Weekend. National Bank of Malawi sponsored the event through its Mo626 program. Students from four colleges joined the celebration. The festival offered relief from academic pressures.

Njuchi commanded the stage with powerful vocals and crowd interaction. His song Ma Ine moved students to tears as they thought about their mothers. Female students sang loudly when he performed his new track Kathumba. The artist connected deeply with young audiences. His performance became the night's main attraction.

Other musicians joined the lineup throughout the evening. Patience Namadingo energized crowds with his hit Tuli. Driemo performed Magini for dancing couples. Artist 6TH played hometown favorites Pango and Muli Uthenga. DJs Magic, Classic, Grant and Stephen kept music playing late into the night.

Akossa Hiwa represents marketing at National Bank of Malawi. She said the bank supports youth development through cultural events. The company believes music and arts help young people express themselves. These programs shape future leaders through creativity. Community engagement remains important for the bank.

Student Dumisani Misi studies at Mzuzu University as a senior. He praised the bank for bringing famous performers to campus. The student said such high-quality shows rarely happen at the university. Memories from the concert will last beyond graduation. The weekend created lasting impact for attendees.
