Elon Musk promises an xAI AI videogame by next year

Elon Musk, ranked by Forbes as the world's richest person, said on Monday that xAI Game Studio would launch a full-scale artificial intelligence video game by late next year. He first revealed the plan almost a year ago, calling for an AI studio to revive the game development industry. Analysts remain skeptical; NVIDIA's deep learning research vice president, Bryan Catanzaro, said two years ago that he doubted AI could instantly create a game as complex as Cyberpunk 2077 from a short prompt. Generative tools have advanced since then, yet experts still expect AI to assist human developers rather than replace them in creating triple-A titles.
