Emmerson Mnangagwa opens the Emmerson Mnangagwa school in Kwekwe

Midlands State University will witness President Mnangagwa inaugurate the law school bearing his name at its Kwekwe campus. The ceremony marks the first graduation event held outside the institution's primary Gweru location. Students and families gather in large numbers for this milestone academic occasion.

Kwekwe City Council donated land for the two-story educational complex housing 110 specialized rooms. The facility contains lecture halls, digital library resources, practice courtrooms, student housing, healthcare services, and dining areas. Additional faculties for agriculture and construction studies will operate from this location.

The campus development has transformed the surrounding region from agricultural land into a commercial center. Local infrastructure improvements have benefited residents and businesses throughout the area. Transport routes connecting the university to Kwekwe's center received upgrades that enhance accessibility for the community.

University administrators describe the law school as an investment in Zimbabwe's future legal professionals. The modern training facilities will prepare students for international legal practice through hands-on learning experiences.
