Employee quits after the company demands the return of the RTX 5060 prize

A worker in China won a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card in a lottery during a company-sponsored trip to a NVIDIA event. His employer, however, demanded he return the prize, asserting it was company property.

When the employee refused, senior management and the human resources department reportedly pressured him, threatening termination. The individual chose to resign from his position instead of surrendering the GPU.

This incident has ignited a significant online discussion regarding the ownership of randomly won prizes at corporate functions. Public opinion appears divided on whether the company overstepped by demanding the employee relinquish his winnings.
