Entebbe bloodbath, Lugonjo returnees David and Deborah Mutaaga butchered

Police grabbed two suspects after a masked killer butchered a couple who just came back from Switzerland. David and Deborah Mutaaga lived in Zurich for over 30 years before returning home to Uganda. The pair threw a party Sunday night to celebrate their homecoming with friends and family. A masked man climbed over their fence just two hours after guests left. He stabbed both victims to death at their Entebbe home.

Officers arrested Angela Nakalema and David Golooba who worked at the house. Both suspects left the property around 7:45 PM shortly before the attack happened. Police spokesman Patrick Onyango said they need help from the workers to solve the case. Security cameras caught the killer dressed in black scaling the wall using an electric pole. The murderer had watched the house before and knew exactly where all the cameras were positioned.

The attacker told the couple he came to kill them according to camera footage. He first stabbed David in the chest near his heart before dragging him outside. The killer forced David to open the remote gate before stabbing him multiple times. He walked back inside and broke into Deborah's locked bedroom upstairs. The woman tried calling for help on her phone but rescue came too late.

Detectives think the murders stem from a family fight over inherited property. David apparently refused to share his father's estate with his siblings. Police believe angry relatives saw the couple's return as perfect revenge timing.
