Entebbe International Airport processed 226,301 international travelers in September 2025, with departures exceeding arrivals by more than 16,000 passengers. The facility averaged 7,543 people daily across 105,043 incoming and 121,258 outgoing movements, marking a decrease from August, when 243,089 passengers used the terminal.
Freight volumes climbed to 5,882 metric tonnes as exports outpaced imports by more than 1,500 tonnes. Uganda Civil Aviation Authority officials credited horticulture and fish shipments for the 3,707 metric tonnes leaving the country compared to 2,175 metric tonnes entering.
