ESO Worm Cult Update Floods Solstice with Chaos

The Elder Scrolls Online launched Seasons of the Worm Cult on computers today. Console players must wait until June 18 for the same content. The update brings Solstice island as a new playable area off southern Tamriel. ZeniMax Online picked this remote location for the Worm Cult's return. Players previously defeated these necromancers during the original main story campaign.

Solstice features Mediterranean tropical designs that look different from other game zones. The mysterious Writhing Wall covers the eastern part of the island. This barrier made of souls creates the central story element for the entire year. Players will work to uncover its secrets and destroy it during a major event later. The Stirk Fellowship brings together heroes from past adventures to fight the cult.

Subclassing arrives as the most important feature for veteran players. Characters above level 50 can learn skills from other classes through special quests. Players must keep at least one skill line from their original class. Each borrowed skill costs twice as many points to unlock compared to regular abilities. The system creates unique character builds never before possible.
