Esther Anil graduates LSE after doubting her own dreams

Esther Anil just graduated from the London School of Economics. The actress, known for playing Mohanlal's younger daughter in Drishyam and its Tamil remake Papanasam, earned a degree in International Development.

She posted a long reflection on Instagram, recalling how her dad once suggested LSE as an impossible dream. She initially thought the idea was unrealistic. Her parents insisted she go despite the financial strain, with her brothers already on student loans. She thanked them for their relentless support.

Anil admitted the program was brutally challenging, forcing her to compete with brilliant peers and battle imposter syndrome. She received a distinction on her thesis about women and power, which changed her analytical perspective. She expressed deep gratitude for friends and supporters who showed her kindness throughout the difficult year. She ended her note by affirming it is better to dream foolishly than not at all.
