Excite Audio launches Evolve Elastic with morphing sound features

Excite Audio has launched Evolve Elastic, a sample-driven synthesis platform drawing inspiration from electronic producers such as Flume, SOPHIE and Aphex Twin. The software contains more than 250 sound sources spanning acid bass tones, percussive rhythms and atmospheric textures that users can manipulate through four dedicated macro processors labeled Melt, Bounce, Stretch and Gloss.

The quad-engine architecture enables simultaneous layering, while an XY control surface facilitates real-time morphing between sample banks and synthesis elements. Musicians can import custom audio files, apply modulation through envelope generators and low-frequency oscillators, then process results via dual filtering stages and a three-slot effects chain housing 16 available modules.

The instrument ships with 250 factory patches created by the company's design team. Introductory discounts reduce pricing to 19 dollars through year-end, with rent-to-own payment plans available alongside bundle and upgrade options.
