Expressive E has expanded its Osmose lineup with a 61-key model while relocating manufacturing operations to a dedicated facility in Poland. The larger keyboard maintains the original instrument's multidimensional control capabilities, allowing musicians to manipulate velocity, aftertouch, vibrato and other parameters through advanced sensing technology and lateral key movement.
The synth utilizes Haken Audio's EaganMatrix engine, combining physical modeling with FM and subtractive synthesis alongside integrated effects processing. Additional sounds arrive through partnerships with software developers, including U-He and KiloHearts, while proprietary instruments like Soliste and Noisy 2 complement the hardware. The manufacturer indicated that firmware updates will continue enhancing DAW compatibility and user functionality.
