Farmers Band Together to Rule Markets

Officials are asking farmers to form agricultural groups for better market reach. Matabeleland South Provincial Affairs Minister Albert Nguluvhe shared this message through his representative, Khumbulani Bembe, at a recent field day. These clusters will help farmers gain more selling power, improve market access, and make buying supplies easier. Such changes aim to create the strong commercial farming sector outlined in national development plans.

"Agriculture serves as more than just a way to make a living—it drives economic change," said Nguluvhe. He called on farmers, community leaders, government departments, and aid groups to back these efforts. He stressed the need for training programs, funding, and better farming methods. Teamwork among these groups can help unlock farming potential in the region. This approach supports the national goals set for 2030.
