Fubara urges calm as Rivers Assembly moves to impeach him

Siminalayi Fubara just told everyone to chill out while politicians try to fire him. The Rivers State Governor urged residents to remain calm despite the State House of Assembly making moves to impeach him. He addressed the congregation during a church service in Port Harcourt, honoring the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

He insisted that this messy situation would get resolved eventually. Fubara claimed his silence regarding the drama remains intentional because his confidence comes directly from his religious faith. The leader referenced an earlier banquet speech where he noted that animals make noise when they lack comprehension.

Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu backed up this sentiment and asked the public to behave responsibly. She echoed Archbishop Blessing Eyinda, who preached that history remembers every action people take. Odu requested continuous prayers from the citizens since those spiritual vibes provide strength for their administration.
