GeForce RTX 5070 price dips below MSRP in Japan

Graphics card prices continue falling across global markets as retailers slash costs on Nvidia's RTX 50 series lineup. The RTX 5070 joins other models seeing significant price cuts below manufacturer suggested retail prices. Japanese stores recently began offering the graphics cards at substantial discounts after weeks of limited availability. Major retailers worldwide report similar price trends affecting multiple RTX 50 series models. The price declines mark a sharp contrast from initial launch periods when cards sold at premium rates.

PC Koubou lists the Gainward GeForce RTX 5070 Python III graphics card for 89,980 yen, representing an 18 percent reduction from the original 108,800 yen price tag. The current price equals approximately 618 dollars at present exchange rates. TSUKUMO offers an MSI variant for 99,800 yen, still 10,000 yen below the manufacturer's suggested price. Amazon Japan maintains limited stock levels for most graphics card models. Other retailers show improving availability as prices continue declining.

North American and European markets experience parallel price movements on RTX 5070 graphics cards. Amazon sells various RTX 5070 models around 600 dollars with improved stock levels. Newegg provides multiple card options at similar price points across different manufacturers. German retailers offer some RTX 5070 cards near 560 euros, representing 110 euro savings from launch prices. Industry observers predict most RTX 5070 graphics cards will reach or fall below suggested retail prices within weeks as competition intensifies among retailers.
