Georgi Vladov elected GERB youth chairman with near-unanimous vote

Georgi Vladov won the leadership role for GERB Youth Organization. The 26-year-old candidate received strong support from assembly members. Voters cast 239 ballots for Vladov and only one person chose to abstain. Bulgarian National Radio announced the election results from the General Assembly meeting. The new leader takes over from Georg Georgiev who currently serves as Foreign Affairs Minister.

Vladov brings engineering education and government experience to his new position. He completed his studies focusing on civil engineering topics. The Defense Ministry employs Vladov as a parliamentary secretary. His background combines technical knowledge with political work. Assembly members selected him to guide the youth organization forward.

The election process chose additional leaders for the organization. Martin Milev earned a deputy chairman position during the voting. Yaman Husmen also secured a deputy chairman role. Krasimir Terziev won another deputy chairman spot. Velmira Valeva received the fourth deputy chairman position.

Maria Dimitrova gained the organizational secretary role. The General Assembly selected all five leaders during the same meeting. Each person will help Vladov manage youth activities. The new team replaces previous organization leaders. Members expect fresh ideas from the younger leadership group.
