Getac Powers Rugged Laptops with Edge AI and Fast Data

Getac just rolled out brand new B360 and B360 Pro super tough laptops. These machines help workers in field services, utilities, and defense tackle the daily challenges they face outdoors. The updated models combine serious durability with impressive tech upgrades that make work easier. Both laptops come ready for whatever rough conditions users might encounter during their workday.

These laptops pack the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chips with AI Boost tech built right in. This lets users run AI tasks directly on their devices instead of needing cloud connections. During real testing with customers, these machines transformed huge text blocks into complete reports almost instantly using Llama 3.1 8B software. Running AI locally beats cloud-based systems when you need immediate results, better privacy, offline access, or want to save money.

The updated models feature Thunderbolt 4 ports that transfer data incredibly fast. Thanks to LifeSupport technology, users can swap batteries without shutting down, keeping productivity high all day long. These laptops connect through Wi-Fi 7 networks, which run five times faster than previous standards with way less delay. The Pro version includes two big batteries standard and offers an optional NVIDIA graphics card for amazing visuals without slowing down other programs.

B360 Pro users can add an extra bay that holds another SSD drive, a third battery, or even DVD and Blu-ray players, depending on their needs. Both laptop models allow companies to order exactly what works for their specific industry needs. Customers can pick custom hardware, software, accessories, and service plans even when buying small amounts. This ensures that every device matches exactly how workers plan to use it.

Field techs use these rugged laptops to access secure data, talk with remote teams, and gather information no matter where they work. The devices include multiple security options like smart card readers, RFID, and fingerprint scanners to keep data safe. Utility companies love these laptops for mapping tasks because they meet tough military standards and resist water, dust, and drops from six feet high.

Defense professionals depend on B360 Pro laptops for command operations requiring real-time intelligence and secure communications. The Pro model runs longer between charges and works with special vehicle docks that turn any vehicle into a mobile command center. Users can add extra PCMCIA card slots for expanded functionality without needing external adapters. James Hwang from Getac says these advances will drive demand for rugged AI-capable devices across multiple industries. Look for these new laptops starting this April.
