Ghana reels as Asah-Asante blames leaders for the death of top KATH doctor

A top university professor has slammed government leaders over a doctor's tragic death at a major hospital. Dr. Kwame Asah-Asante from the University of Ghana says officials failed Dr. Kwame Adu Ofori badly. The emergency room doctor worked at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital before he died. Political Science lecturer Asah-Asante spoke about the case during a JoyNews interview. He says the whole mess shows how badly the country's leaders have messed up.

The angry professor claims government bosses let down one of Ghana's most important medical workers. Asah-Asante thinks the death could have been stopped if leaders had done their jobs properly. He says the tragedy proves that public hospitals and government offices are falling apart. The university teacher wants all Ghanaians to feel ashamed about what happened. He believes citizens must demand better from the people who run the country.

Asah-Asante also attacked leaders for complaining about young people leaving Ghana. He says smart folks are moving abroad because the government keeps failing them. The professor wants voters to kick out politicians who cannot do their jobs right. He thinks Ghanaians need to wake up and fight for their country again. The comments come as more people get angry about terrible healthcare services across the nation.
