Giannis Antetokounmpo splits time between the US, Greece with family

Giannis Antetokounmpo is balancing life between two continents. While the Milwaukee Bucks star remains in the U.S. for the NBA season, his wife, Mariah, and their four children have reportedly settled in Athens, Greece.

Giannis decided to stay in the States as Mariah and their children—Liam, 5, Maverick, 4, Eva, 3, and baby Aria—relocated to an exclusive apartment complex in Athens. The complex is located in Paleo Psychiko, Athens' "diplomatic row." Giannis' mother, Veronica, and his brothers also live in the same complex.

The decision came after the couple discussed their options for raising their growing family. With family support in Greece, Mariah and the kids are adjusting to life there, including sending their two oldest children to a private school. Giannis and Mariah plan to stay closely connected through video calls and visits, with Mariah and the children planning to join Giannis in Milwaukee for the winter holidays.

Although fans speculated about a move to the New York Knicks, Giannis appears to be committed to the Bucks, even as his family life remains across the ocean for now.
