Gobind Singh Deo ignites the Kuala Lumpur stage, fusing Malay arts and AI

Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo advocates merging artistic expression with digital technology as a powerful driver for societal advancement. The minister emphasized how the Malay language serves as a unifying force while theatrical performances demonstrate moral principles and foster innovative thinking among young people. Traditional venue-based events can transform through digital platform integration, expanding reach and accessibility for cultural programming. Eight hundred students from Tamil national schools across Malaysia participated in a Malay language theatre competition, with SJKT Batu Anam claiming victory for their artificial intelligence-themed production "Suara Hati." The winning team received RM5,000 and a challenge trophy after three months of intensive script development and rehearsal preparation under the guidance of their teacher.
