Godbreakers' four-player co-op hack and slash gets demo on Steam, PS5 launch set for 2025

Thunderful Games announced Godbreakers, a cooperative action title developed by subsidiary studio To The Sky. The hack-and-slash adventure supports up to four players battling against Monad, an artificial intelligence entity commanding hostile creatures. Players defeat enemies by absorbing their abilities and wielding these stolen powers against remaining foes. The game launches on PlayStation 5 and personal computers through Steam and Epic Games Store platforms in 2025. Steam users can experience the title through a currently available demonstration version.

Movement mechanics and pattern recognition form core gameplay elements, particularly for solo adventurers. Chief executive officer Jugo Mirkovic emphasized creating fast-paced, fluid combat experiences where players unleash mayhem with friends. To The Sky invested years developing optimal gameplay systems for their debut project. The studio expresses excitement about sharing its creation with gaming audiences. The demonstration's immediate availability alongside the announcement suggests developers remain confident about meeting their projected release timeline.
