Google's Pixel 10 Pro Fold fakes its Qi2 charging feature

Google is preparing to release the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which will feature Qi2 wireless charging capabilities. Tipster Evan Blass revealed this development through social media posts. The device will utilize baseline power profile mode rather than magnetic power profile technology. This approach places magnetic components within protective cases instead of integrating them directly into the phone hardware. The company maintains structural integrity while preserving the device's lightweight design characteristics.

The foldable phone will feature UFS 4.0 storage across three capacity options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations. Google equips the device with 16GB of RAM and powers it using the Tensor G5 processor manufactured on TSMC's advanced 3nm technology. Engineers achieved IP68 water and dust resistance ratings for this model, marking a first achievement among Google's foldable devices. The phone contains a 5,015mAh battery that supports 23W wired charging and 15W wireless power delivery. Camera specifications remain identical to previous generations, while display improvements appear minimal with slight size increases.
