Governor Adeleke Calls for Prayer and Unity in Lent

Osun State leader Ademola Adeleke wants Christians everywhere to pray hard during Lent. He asks them to focus on bringing lasting peace to both his state and all of Nigeria. The governor believes this fasting time means a lot because it represents when Jesus started his mission. He told believers to use these forty days to heal broken friendships.

His official speaker, Olawale Rasheed, shared these thoughts with everyone on Saturday. Adeleke really hopes Christians will copy what Jesus did by reaching out to folks who struggle. He reminded everyone not to forget about making personal sacrifices. The message about showing kindness stands at the heart of everything.

Adeleke sent happy wishes to all Christians doing Lent across Osun State and beyond. He described these forty days as extra special because they help people grow their faith. The practice teaches the value of thinking about others instead of yourself. Jesus showed this by fasting forty days straight according to their beliefs.

The governor encouraged Christians to look deep inside during this season. He pushed them to recommit to the core ideas Lent represents - giving up things and helping others. Living like Jesus means spreading love between neighbors. Anyone can make their community better by lending a hand where needed.

Adeleke spoke directly about the problems facing Osun State right now. He mentioned certain troublemakers trying to mess up peace just for personal gain. The governor sincerely hopes these prayer days bring calm throughout the land. His biggest wish involves seeing both Osun State and Nigeria grow stronger through everyone's faith.
