MAINGEAR boss Wallace Santos is telling people to buy their gaming gear right away because prices are about to get way worse. DRAM shortages keep getting nastier thanks to AI companies hoarding everything, and that means GPUs and RAM are going to cost a bunch more pretty soon.
Santos says Black Friday deals happening right this second are probably the last chance to grab components before everything jumps in price. System builders have been stockpiling inventory to shield customers from the chaos, but those reserves will only last a couple of months before lead times stretch out and stuff starts going out of stock.
